New Adventures - Emerging Artist 2025-26

The Foundation is pleased to announce that Sir Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures dance company has selected Isabella Chandler as their Emerging Artist for 2025-26. The Programme was created to nurture the development of the next generation of young dancers at the early stage of their careers as they transition from professional training to working in the industry. Isabella will be mentored by New Adventures Resident Artist and principal dancer Glenn Graham, and she will take part in company classes and residencies, as well performing in New Adventures touring productions - read New Adventures announcement here.

Isabella recently graduated from Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance and will make her New Adventures debut in Matthew Bourne’s The Red Shoes , opening at Theatre Royal Plymouth on 17 November 2025 ahead of a seven-week Christmas season at Sadler’s Wells.

The Foundation’s support for the New Adventures initiative for their Emerging Artist Programme follows our involvement last year with their Principal Support Programme, and its recipient, Leo McCorkindale, who as part of that Programme performed the role of The Prince in New Adventures production of Swan Lake: The Next Generation - click here to see Foundation Chair Peter Land and Leo McCorkindale talking about the Principal Support Programme.
